A twin-prop aeroplane is heard on entry to Insignia Complex A in Episode 5 The Signal, which may suggest that the events that follow are occurring in a much older timeline prior to the advanced technology available in the era of Tier City.

In Episode 8 The North Hatch, Agent Brannon arrives at Insignia Complex A and declares that it is freezing outside.

In the same episode, Max Hunter has trekked through a radioactive wasteland wearing a Hazmat suit, where he is guided to a hatch by his Wiki Unit. In the abandoned bunker, he discovers two unidentifiable bodies. If this is Insignia Complex A, then this would suggest that Dr Cooke's signal investigation is in a previous timeline to the events of Tier City.

It would also suggest that the two dead bodies could be either Dr Cooke, Commander Bryce or Agent Brannon.
