"One day this man will have to make a choice that will impact on everything and everyone around him. One that will reach far beyond our universe and into the very cosmos that I gaze upon right now. Into the unseen civilisations yet to be discovered. I only hope he makes the right one, or God help us all." Professor Keller

Patient Zero is first mentioned in an audio file recording stored on the data drive that Max Hunter sends to his daughter, Rachel.

In Episode 3 Delivery Incoming, Rachel unlocks the Data Drive. The drive contains audio recordings from Professor Keller's lab where he is monitoring Patient Zero's vital signs. Keller describes Patient Zero as being "cocooned."

The identity of Patient Zero and his impact on the mysteries of Coexistence are as yet unknown.
