There are many unexplained mysteries in Coexistence.
One of the biggest mysteries is the origin and intention of The Signal. Dr Cooke is recruited to Insignia Complex A to study an anomaly that he claims to be a cypher which he believes is "a gift from the stars."
Other mysterious anomalies include creatures such as The Infestation and The Aqua.
