Max Hunter has seen a lot since the fall of Old Earth.
He is first heard on the run from Attack Drones when he ejects a data packet for his daughter, Rachel, that he claims to contain "thirty years of mistakes . . . thirty years of achievements."
Max lost his partner, Jenny Hunter, in a mysterious accident. Jenny's death has made it difficult for Max to remain close to his daughter.
